Then I just drive down and spend the entire day at Jedediah Smith redwoods. I did overnight at Prairie Creek redwoods campground one night. Sometimes when I'm just down for 2 days, I'll sneak into the parking lot for Big Tree when it's dark, sleep in the trailer, and early in the morning park along the elk viewing area in the day for hiking. That's how I head down early to get in a long day's hiking.
